Fallen Too Far by Abbi Glines, I can't even give it a star rating because it exceeds any kind of rating, if I were to give it a rating I would have to give it 7/5 stars which will officially be rating I will be able to give a book. This novel was the first book by Abbi Glines that I read because it was recommended to me on Kobo, and when I read the description it sounded like an interesting story, and it was only $1.02 CAN (which any book around the dollar mark is hard to say not to for me!) so I bought it and I was instantly compelled by Blaire.
***Just a heads up there are going to be some spoilers at the end, so if you have not read the book or the series, don't click read more, don't say I didn't warn you!*****
The poor girl has nothing, she just lost her mom after taking care of her for 3 years through cancer. No 19 years old should have to deal with that! And then how humble and begging she is towards Rush, just asking for a room until she can find a job and afford to go on her own. I couldn't figure out why he was such a dick to her! I mean maybe her dad doesn't treat his mum properly or something, but I was like buddy just bring it down, you have a multimillion dollar home and you give the girl a closet under the stairs, is she Harry Potter now?
But I think that is part of what made their story so compelling, they are such polar opposites, different in almost every way. Their romance was so passionate, it was one of those ones that as I was reading it I felt my stomach drop at moment, my heart in my throat in others.
My heart was breaking for Blaire and how much pain she was dealing with on her own, I mean her own father wasn't even there for her! She is so young and she has the world sitting on her shoulders, all she sees that she has in store in her future is working jobs that just give her enough money to live.
There are parts of the book that I have bookmarked on my Kobo because they are so good I just need to reread them when I am having a bad
I might add to this review soon, after I read it again, but that's it for now!
Thanks for reading my review! I hope you liked it, tell me your thoughts on the book or the series if you have read them.
Peace, Love and Great Book!
