Hey Beauty Lovers!
Sorry I haven't done a product review in, well forever! It has been a crazy few month and I have really focused on the book side of my blog but there are a few products that I really have to mention because I am in love with them and they have become my everyday staples.
First one is the Tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-hour Primer. So there is a loooong list of reasons why I love this product. I haven't tried a lot of BB creams but I fell in love with Tarte when I tried their blush and I like that they are more natural than other cosmetics. I got a sample of both Tarte's BB creams in a couple different shades when I was at Sephora. The other is a the Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer. And it's not like I didn't like the other one, I just found this one was lighter.
So I got the shade fair which is a perfect match for my non tanned skin but I have started self-tanning, I don't use the tanner on my face though so it is easy to use bronzer to mimic the colour of the rest of my body. The formula is super light and makes my skin feel really soft and smooth. Because I have such dry skin I do add a bit of my Alba Green Tea Moisturizer underneath so I don't get any dry patches. But even when I put this over top of the moisturizer it doesn't make my skin greasy at all, it leaves my skin almost velvety. I do use bronzer and blush but I don't powder it besides that.
There is not a ton of coverage, I would call it very-light coverage but if you have pretty decent skin but just want something quick and light this is perfect, and I love it in the summer because it doesn't make my skin feel cakey or hot like a lot of foundations do. In the winter I don't mind heavier makeup but in the summer I can't do it. With a bit of concealer on under eye circles, blemishes and around the nose skin looks perfect without being too perfect.
Another great thing about it is it does have an SPF of 30! Yes ladies and gents, I did just say 30, I find most are 15-20 which is good but I burn very quickly and love having the protection of this on my face.
Okay so that was really long and rambling but moral of the story is BUY THIS PRODUCT! Or at least get a sample to try.
Peace, Love, and Beauty <3
